Cultivate U utilizes your Moraine Park Office 365 log in credentials, which allows you to access Cultivate U in the following ways:


1. Click on the Login Icon on the Talent Development homepage on myMPTC


2. Go directly to the Cultivate U site: https://morainepark.sumtotal.host or use one of the deep links located in an email communication or on myMPTC.


If you have not recently logged into Office 365, you will need to do so using your College email address and network password.


You will also get the option to stay signed in to reduce the number of times you are asked to sign in (if desired). 


Accessing Office 365 off campus


If you are trying to access Cultivate U off campus, it is highly recommended that you log in through VDI and follow one of the steps above. This can be done by going to http://vdi.morainepark.edu and either downloading the VMware client onto your computer or accessing it thorough the web.


If you do not use VDI, you will be asked to complete a two-step verification process, which for many of you will default to calling your office phone. If you think you will need to use this process off campus, you will want to follow the instructions below on how to change your verification preferences to either an alternate phone number or by using the authentication app. 


Changing your Verification Preferences


To do this, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to http://myapps.microsoft.com
  2. Click on your image in the top right corner then click Profile
  3. Under Manage Account, select "Additional security verification"
  4. The site will contact you to approve the sign in request using the default method (should call your Moraine Park office phone)
  5. Once you have authenticated your login, you will see a drop down where you can change your verification option to either call or text a different number or get authentication through an app.
  6. When finished, click Save at the bottom of the screen. You will now be able to access the site off-campus using the new two-step verification process.
